Massive ring made of patinated silver (purity 925/1000), freedom for the fingers - the possibility of correcting the circumference. It is dominated by a natural carnelian cabochon.
The jewelry is completely handmade, a solid piece of silver, so its lifespan is long. No goldsmithing component is used. It is made using the goldsmith's technique, by successively layering silver and adding pieces of ornament. The stone is firmly set into the setting, and protrudes significantly from the ring. The ring has a shiny surface and a distinctive historic filigree ornament. The variety of surfaces and the dark patina make the plasticity of the structures and motifs stand out. It seems earthy, mysterious.
The cabochon is made of natural carnelian (marquise - oval with pointed tops 18 x 8 mm), cut in the Czech Republic. It has a rich brick color, cloudy structure. Yet it is translucent, and the sun and light lend it depth and color. The weight of the ring is 7.88 g (carnelian 0.63 g, metal 7.25 g). The piece of jewelry is properly marked with the state stamp of authenticity and the manufacturer's mark.
Ring size: 56. However, the ring is not firmly attached. This makes it possible to loosen the ring easily. See additional photo. The width of the ring is 4.8 mm, the thickness of the material is 0.8 mm. The decorative ornament with a stone is an oval 28 x 16 mm.
Maintenance - occasional polishing with a jewelry cloth is recommended (can usually be bought in a goldsmith's shop). Or have the jewelry professionally cleaned in a goldsmith's shop.
