The entire pendant is completely handmade, without the use of components. The jewelry is so durable, solid. It is made using the goldsmith's technique, patinated, then polished. The bed for placing the stone is free, the same on both sides (the stone is thus in direct contact with the skin). The edging copies the shape and thickness of the stone, thus covering all its edges. It is plastically structured (forged, hammered, engraved). The dark patina beautifully emphasizes the structure of the metal and the color of the stone. The stone is then secured on three sides with brackets, the same on the reverse as on the face.
The loop for hanging on a chain is firmly attached to the pendant.
The stone is a tumbled slab, its thickness is 2.75 mm. The color is a softer orange, the structure and color of the stone resembles orange juice. It is translucent and the sun beautifully emphasizes its color and structure. It has the shape of a triangle. There is much to be found about stones with a triangle motif.
The length of the pendant is 24.5 mm (with eyelet 29 mm). Width 15.5 mm.
The pendant weighs 2.64g (silver 1.57g, cabochon 1.07g).
The product is properly marked with the hallmark of authenticity and the manufacturer's mark.
I am sending the pendant together with a long black linen cord (see photo). I can also offer a surgical steel chain. The chain is not part of the shipment. It is very strong and can hold jewelry with a larger stone. In case of interest, the inner fler will contact me by mail.
Maintenance - If necessary, polish with a jewelry cloth (commonly available at jewelry stores) or a piece of flannel. It is advisable to have the jewelery professionally cleaned in a goldsmith's shop.
I send as valuable writing in a paper gift box. The jewelry is carefully packed, the box is protected by bubble wrap. All in a paper or plastic envelope for valuable writing.
