Sterling silver pendant 925/1000, dominated by a large dark labradorite (35 mm).
Stone: distinctive labradorite, cut in the Czech Republic. It is a dark stone in basic gray color. The center of the stone shows a punched labradorization resembling a lightning bolt. The most represented dark blue color, which turns to honey shades. yellow-green structure with honey highlights. The color and gloss changes and overflows with movement and the different impact of light. The stone is 35mm long, 21.4mm wide, convex and measures 9.20mm at its highest point.
The entire pendant is completely handmade, without the use of any component. I guarantee precise and careful processing, attention to detail. The jewelry is durable, solid. It is made using classic goldsmith's technique, patinated. The bed for placing the stone is also free on the reverse side, so the stone is in direct contact with the skin and the light goes to the stone from behind as well.
The edging of the stone is robust, copying its shape. It has a structured surface with a dark patina. The variety of surfaces and patina makes the plasticity of the structures and motifs and the labradorization of the stone stand out. It seems earthy, mysterious. The stone is secured with four polished wide brackets.
The eyelet for hanging is firmly attached to the pendant. It is large enough to thread a chain through. I recommend a more robust chain, the stone is quite heavy. The chain is not part of the shipment. I have a chain made of surgical steel. It is a maintenance-free non-contact material that does not oxidize. It will be tailored according to your wishes, please add the length to the order message. Fastening - carabiner made of chir. steel and counter.
The length of the pendant is 37.5 mm (with eyelet 44 mm). Width 24.6 mm.
The pendant weighs 15.60 g (Ag 4.38 g, stone 11.22 g).
The product is properly marked with the state stamp of authenticity and my production mark.
Maintenance - Occasional polishing with a jewelry cloth is appropriate (can normally be purchased at a goldsmith's shop). Or the occasional professional cleaning in a goldsmith's shop. I recommend storing in a box (it is part of the shipment). The jewelry then stays shiny longer and is better maintained.
I send as valuable writing in a paper gift box. The jewelry is carefully packed, the box is protected by bubble wrap. All in a paper or plastic envelope for valuable writing. The proof of purchase is included in the shipment. I am a supporter of "zero waste" - easy sorting of packaging materials with a minimum of waste.
I am attaching a printed description of the jewelry, which fulfills the function of the "Birth Certificate" of the author's jewelry. It is equipped with a presentation stamp with an image of the manufacturer's brand and a handwritten signature.
