The jewelry is handmade using classic goldsmithing techniques, polished to a high shine.
Stones: beautiful oval cabochons of expensive smoky opal originating from Ethiopia (5 x 4 mm), hand cut in the Czech Republic. They are in basic light golden shades, the colors and saturations of different shades flow in them differently. From golden to green, blue and subtle pink. The stones are really very unusual and their color is very variable with the change of light. They are completely different in the sun, in the shade, under dim interior light... Opals are generally difficult to capture in photographs, so their beauty remains hidden only for their owner. A few different photos, but still the same earrings.
Size of earrings: Bed with stone measures 5 x 6 mm. The relief has a height of 3 mm. The length of the threaded shaft is 9.25 mm (the space for the earlobe is 3.70 mm and I can shorten it further on request). The shaft is located in the center of the oval bed. See photo.
Weight of earrings: 0.84 g (of which opals 0.11 g).

Maintenance - It is suitable, for example, to occasionally polish with a jewelry cloth (can be bought in a goldsmith's shop) or a piece of flannel. You can gently degrease with soapy water and a soft brush. If necessary, have the jewelry professionally treated and cleaned in a goldsmith's shop.
I ship in a paper gift box. The jewelry is carefully packed, the box is protected by bubble wrap. All in a paper or plastic envelope for valuable writing. The proof of purchase is enclosed in the shipment. I am a supporter of "zero waste" - easy sorting of packaging materials with a minimum of waste.
I am attaching a printed description of the jewelry, which fulfills the function of the "Birth Certificate" of the author's jewelry. It is equipped with a presentation stamp with a production mark and a handwritten signature. The text mentions the originality of the jewelry - very useful information when purchasing an original piece as a gift.
