The jewelry is handmade using classic goldsmithing techniques, polished to a high shine.
Stones: Selected round cabochons of expensive dark smoky opal, originally from Ethiopia (4 mm), hand-cut in the Czech Republic. They are rich, mainly in dark blue and dark green tones. They are slightly complemented by the lower pinkish shade. They have different colors and reflections. The stones are really very unusual and their color changes depending on the intensity and color of the light. They are completely different in the sun, in the shade, in dim interior light... Opals are generally difficult to capture in a photo, so their beauty remains hidden only for their owner. Several different photos, but they are still the same earrings.
Earring size: The bed with the stone has a diameter of 4.9 mm. The relief has a height of 3.5 mm. The length of the stem with the thread is 9.25 mm (the space for the earlobe measures 3.20 mm and I can shorten it on request). The stem is placed in the center of the oval bed. See photo.
Earring weight: 0.87 g (opals 0.11 + Ag 0.76 g).

Maintenance - It is suitable, for example, to occasionally polish with a jewelry cloth (can be purchased at a jewelry store) or a piece of flannel. You can gently degrease with water with detergent and a soft brush. If necessary, have the jewelry professionally treated and cleaned at a jewelry store.
I ship in a gift paper box. The jewelry is carefully packaged, the box is protected by bubble wrap. Everything in a paper or plastic envelope for valuable writing.
