The entire pendant is completely handmade, without the use of components and semi-finished products. It is made using the goldsmith's technique, elaborate, detailed, with a hand-hammered ornament. Everything is underlined with a patina, then polished to a high gloss. The patina remains in the deeper folds and beautifully emphasizes the contrast of the surface structure and the color of the embedded stone. The bed for the stone is free from both the reverse and the front. In this way, the light reaches the stone also from the reverse side, the stone thus emphasizes its color and depth. The hanging eye is large enough to thread a chain through.
The stone in the jewelry is an almandine garnet (6 x 6 mm). It is angular, ground into a pyramid shape. It has a dark saturated color, wine-red shade. It is translucent, the sun shines through it and emphasizes the color and depth of the stone.
The length including the handmade eyelet is 35.5 mm, the body of the pendant itself (without the eyelet) is 29.7 mm, the width is 11.4 mm.
The total weight of the pendant is 3.23 g (garnet 0.33 g).
The product is properly marked with the hallmark of authenticity and the manufacturer's mark.
The chain is not part of the shipment. I can currently offer a surgical steel chain (price CZK 200). The chain will be tailored according to your wishes. Fastening is a carabiner made of chir. steel. If interested, he will contact me by internal mail.
Maintenance - Occasional polishing with a jewelry cloth (commonly available at jewelry stores) or a piece of flannel is recommended. I recommend storing in a box (included in the package). The jewelry then stays shiny longer and is better maintained. If necessary, have it professionally cleaned at a jewelry store.
